Hidden Eleven

Frequently asked questions

Common questions about how Hidden Eleven works.

Is Hidden Eleven free to play?

Yes. There's no purchase required to draft, play, or use tournament mode. The site is supported by ads rather than a paywall.

Do I need to create an account?

No account is required to create or join a room and play a match. You just pick a display name for the session.

How does multiplayer work?

One player creates a room and shares a room code with a friend, or plays against another manager through public matchmaking. Rooms are live — both managers draft, sub, and watch the match play out in the same session in real time.

What is the "hidden deck"?

It's the game's core bluffing mechanic: a manager can place a draft pick into a face-down deck instead of the visible squad, concealing that player's identity from the opponent until a set reveal point. See the How to play guide for the full walkthrough.

Where do the player photos come from?

Player photos are sourced from Wikimedia Commons under Creative Commons licenses, each credited to its original photographer on the Photo Credits page. Players without an available licensed photo are shown with a generated initials avatar instead of a photo, rather than using an unlicensed image.

What leagues and players are included?

The player pool is built from real club rosters across the leagues supported at any given time. Room hosts can restrict a draft to a single league, a curated bundle, or the full available pool.

Does my in-progress match get saved if I disconnect?

Match state lives on the room for the duration of the session, so a brief disconnect and reconnect (same room code) can pick back up. Leaving a room permanently ends your participation in that match.

What browsers are supported?

Hidden Eleven runs in any modern desktop or mobile browser with JavaScript enabled — no download or plugin required.

Is my data sold or shared?

See the Privacy Policy for full details on what's collected and how it's used.
